Governor Kimani Wamatangi Transformational Impact on Kiambu County

Governor Kimani Wamatangi continues to set the pace with a remarkable record of development across Kiambu County. Under his leadership, more than 312 modern ECDE centers have been built, complete with an active feeding program that currently benefits over 39,000 young learners giving them a solid foundation for the future.

In healthcare, his administration has commissioned 24 new Level 3 hospitals and 6 Level 4 hospitals, making quality medical care more accessible than ever before.

Education has also been given a major boost, with bursary allocations rising dramatically from KES 100 million to over KES 500 million, offering hope and opportunity to countless students across the county.

Agriculture, the backbone of many households, has not been left behind as farmers in all 60 wards have received farm inputs to enhance food security and strengthen local livelihoods.

What is even more impressive is the county’s financial growth. Under Governor Wamatangi’s stewardship, revenue collection has soared from KES 2.9 billion to KES 5.4 billion in just two years, demonstrating outstanding governance and accountability.

Governor Wamatangi’s unwavering commitment is truly transforming Kiambu, raising the bar for what leadership can achieve.

JUSTICE FOR ALBERT OJWANG

The killing of Albert Ojwang is heartbreaking, infuriating, and deeply unjust. A young man full of life and potential, the only hope of his family, has had his life brutally cut short at the hands of officers who were meant to protect, not harm. This is not just a tragedy; it is murder, and those responsible must be held accountable.

But what happens in Kenya time and time again? These cases fade within weeks. No culprits arrested. No questions asked. The files are quietly closed and life moves on, except for the families left behind, broken and hopeless. Meanwhile, the killers continue wearing uniforms, collecting salaries paid by the very people they have harmed, us, the taxpayers.

This cannot continue.

Albert Ojwang’s life mattered. His family deserves answers. Kenya deserves better. Justice must not be selective, delayed, or denied. We demand full accountability for this and every other life lost under unclear, suspicious, or violent circumstances involving law enforcement.

But even if human systems fail, God does not fail. He is a just God. Those involved may escape courtrooms, but they will never escape God’s judgment. There will be no peace for the wicked, not now, not ever.

Let this not be just another forgotten name. Let Albert Ojwang’s story awaken our conscience. Let it drive real justice. Because if this continues unchallenged, who will be next?

The One-Term Journey

Ruto, a leader with a vision bright,
Took the helm, embraced the fight.
With promises of change, of hope anew,
A nation’s heart, he aimed to pursue.

But the promises, though bold and grand,
Faded like footprints in shifting sand.
The “hustler” dream, a voice for the poor,
Left many waiting for much, but receiving no more.

Abductions in the shadows, fear in the air,
While the cries for justice echoed, everywhere.
Young voices rose, in anger and despair,
The Genzs rioted, lost in their care.

The tax went high, the burden grew,
A heavy weight, with little to view.
What was promised, now out of reach,
A nation left questioning, each speech.

One term, a short and fleeting span,
Yet the echoes linger across the land.
Ruto, a figure, both praised and scorned,
For what was achieved, and what was mourned.

The hopes were high, the future was bright,
But the shadows crept in, dimming the light.
A president with a vision to steer,
Yet some dreams shattered, still unclear.

Though his time was brief, his story is told,
In the history of Kenya, both young and old.
The promises unkept, the pain still remains,
A one-term leader, with unfilled gains.
