Why We Do What We Do at African Legends
When we started African Legends, our vision was simple: To ensure that the voices of Africans are heard, preserved, and passed down for generations.
We believe that everyone has a story and until we start telling our own stories, they will remain subject to distortion.
African stories are relatable to Africans and powerful because they carry hope.
Ndegwa Gakinya is a shining example. Not only did he rise after 40 failed business attempts, he has now become a mentor to those walking the same path. But he didn’t stop there.
For his book launch, he is bringing together people who have capital and those who have ideas so the next dreamers don’t have to go through what he did.
