Soursop (Annona muricata) grows best in warm, humid tropical areas (25–30°C) with 1,000–2,500 mm of rainfall.

It prefers well-drained, fertile soils with a pH of 5.0–6.5.

The plant needs full sunlight and is sensitive to frost and waterlogging.

MASTITIS IN COWS

Good evening, this evening, I want us to discuss something serious that affects many dairy farmers, and that’s mastitis in cows.

Maybe you’ve noticed a cow giving less milk than usual, or the milk coming out with blood, clots, or looking watery.
That could be a sign of mastitis, an infection of the udder that causes inflammation, pain, and a drop in milk production.

It’s one of the biggest struggles dairy farmers face, and it often comes from things we ignore like milking without cleaning teats, using dirty hands or machines, or letting cows sleep in wet and dirty sheds.

Mastitis doesn’t just affect the cow, it affects your entire dairy business. You lose milk, spend on treatment, and risk selling poor-quality milk. Sometimes it even leads to culling the cow.

But the good news is:mastitis can be prevented if we take small but important steps like:

👉Washing and drying teats before and after milking
👉Keeping your milking area and tools clean
👉Using proper milking techniques without rushing or being rough👉Making sure your cows have a clean and dry place to rest
👉Doing a simple California Mastitis Test (CMT) regularly

Let’s take care of our cows before mastitis takes away our milk and profits. If you've experienced it before, share with us. How did you manage it?

That's an example of hydroponic farming. More specifically, it appears to be a vertical hydroponic system utilizing PVC pipes.

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil, using mineral nutrient solutions in a water solvent. The plants' roots are suspended in the nutrient-rich water, allowing for efficient water and nutrient uptake. This system offers several advantages:

- Water Conservation: Significantly less water is used compared to traditional soil-based farming.

- Space Efficiency: Vertical systems maximize space utilization, particularly beneficial in urban or limited-area settings.

- Faster Growth: Optimized nutrient delivery often leads to faster plant growth and higher yields.

- Pest and Disease Control: Reduced risk of soilborne pests and diseases.

- Year-Round Growing: Suitable for indoor cultivation, enabling year-round production regardless of climate.
