ក្រោយពីត្រឡប់មកដល់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជាវិញបន្ទាប់ពីចរចារការឈប់បាញ់ជាបន្ទាន់ រវាងកងទ័ពកម្ពុជានិងកងទ័ពថៃដោយជោគជ័យនៅប្រទេសម៉ាឡេស៊ី ខ្ញុំបានទទួលទូរសព្ទពីឯកឧត្តម Donald Trump ប្រធានាធិបតីសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ដោយឯកឧត្តមទាក់ទងមកផ្ទាល់ ដើម្បីអបអរសាទរនូវជោគជ័យនៃកិច្ចចរចារបញ្ចប់ការឈប់បាញ់គ្នាភ្លាមរវាងនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីកម្ពុជានិងនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីថៃកាលពីល្ងាចមិញនេះ។ ឯកឧត្តមចាត់ទុកកិច្ចការនេះជាកិច្ចការសំខាន់ហើយដែលឯកឧត្តមតាមដានដោយផ្ទាល់។
ខ្ញុំបានសម្ដែងការអរគុណសារជាថ្មីចំពោះឯកឧត្តមប្រធានាធិបតី Donald Trump ដែលបានផ្ដួចផ្ដើមនិងជំរុញឲ្យមានការចរចារការឈប់បាញ់ឲ្យបានឆាប់រហ័ស និងឲ្យគោលការណ៍សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកធ្វើជាសហអ្នករៀបចំកិច្ចប្រជុំពិសេសនៅប្រទេសម៉ាឡេស៊ីថ្ងៃនេះ។
ឯកឧត្តមយល់ថាដើម្បីឲ្យកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងនេះអាចអនុវត្តទៅដោយពេញលេញនិងមាននិរន្តរភាព ចាំបាច់ត្រូវមានយន្តការតាមដាននិងត្រួតពិនិត្យការអនុវត្តរបស់ភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធឱ្យបានច្បាស់លាស់ ដែលនេះក៏ជាចំណុចឯកភាពគ្នាមួយនៅក្នុងកិច្ចប្រជុំពិសេសផងដែរ។
ក្នុងន័យនេះ ឯកឧត្តមប្រធានាធិបតីបានឯកភាពឲ្យសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកចូលរួមក្នុងដំណើរការត្រួតពិនិត្យការអនុវត្តកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងបញ្ចប់ការឈប់បាញ់គ្នា និងបន្តសហការជាមួយយន្តការដែលរៀបចំដោយម៉ាឡេស៊ី ដើម្បីត្រួតពិនិត្យឲ្យបានជោគជ័យ។
ឯកឧត្តមប្រធានាធិបតី Donald Trump ចាត់ទុកថាកិច្ចការងារនេះជាកិច្ចការពិសេសសំខាន់ដែលឯកឧត្តមចង់ឃើញនូវសន្តិភាពមួយដែលមានជាអចិន្ត្រៃយ៍រវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរ។
Upon returning to Cambodia following the successful negotiation of an immediate ceasefire between the Cambodian and Thai armed forces in Malaysia, I received a phone call from His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States. He contacted me to extend his congratulations for this evening's successful ceasefire negotiation between the Cambodian Prime Minister and the Thai Prime Minister. He considers this a crucial matter that he had been monitoring personally.
I expressed my renewed thanks to President Donald Trump for initiating and facilitating for a swift ceasefire negotiation and for the United States to co-organize today's special meeting in Malaysia.
He believes that for this agreement to be fully and sustainably implemented, there must be a clear monitoring mechanism to oversee the implementation by the relevant parties. This was also a point of agreement of the special meeting.
In this regard, President Trump agrees for the United States to engage in the monitoring the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and to continue cooperating with the mechanism established by Malaysia for successful oversight.
The President attaches great importance to this ceasefire agreement, as he wishes to see lasting peace between the two countries.
