Zesty Cajun Grilled Chicken with Creamy Alabama White Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Cajun Grilled Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (for that perfect kick!)
1/2 teaspoon paprika (adds a smoky depth)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (for flavor oomph)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper (to balance the spices)
Olive oil (for grilling perfection)
For the Alabama White Sauce:
1/2 cup creamy mayonnaise (the base of all things delicious)
1/4 cup tangy horseradish sauce (for a bold, zesty twist)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (brightens up the flavors)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (adds savory depth)
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (for just the right amount of heat)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (because garlic makes everything better)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
Fresh parsley (chopped, for a vibrant finish)
Instructions:
Prep the Chicken:
In a small bowl, blend together Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Generously rub this spice mixture all over your chicken breasts, making sure every side is coated with bold flavor.
Grill to Perfection:
Preheat your grill to a medium-high heat and brush the grates with olive oil. Grill the chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it's perfectly charred on the outside and cooked through (the internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C). You’ll want those grill marks!
Whip Up the Alabama White Sauce:
In a separate bowl, combine the mayo, horseradish sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of tang and spice.
Serve It Up:
Slice the chicken into juicy, tender strips and plate them up with a generous drizzle of Alabama white sauce. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for that pop of color and freshness.
