»នៅសួនច្បារព្រះអង្គចេកព្រះអង្គចម ក្នុងក្រុងសៀមរាប ហើយត្រូវបានរំពឹងថានឹងមានវត្តមានសិល្បករជាង ៥០នាក់ មកពីខេត្តផ្សេងៗគ្នានៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ដែលធ្វើការរួមគ្នាដើម្បីបង្កើតស្នាដៃសិល្បៈទំហំ ៥ម៉ែត្រ គុណនឹង ៣០ម៉ែត្រ ដែលផ្សំឡើងពីបន្ទះម៉ូឌុល ឬគំនូរជញ្ជាំងធំៗ។ សិល្បៈធ្លាប់បានបម្រើជាមធ្យោបាយសន្តិភាព សិល្បៈមានឥទ្ធិពលក្នុងការបង្ហាញពីការពិត ការឈឺចាប់ និងក្តីសង្ឃឹមហួសពីព្រំដែននយោបាយ គោលបំណងនៃព្រឹត្តិការណ៍នេះនឹងផ្តល់សំឡេងដល់ជនស៊ីវិល គោរពបេតិកភណ្ឌ និងអំពាវនាវដល់សហគមន៍អន្តរជាតិឱ្យចាត់វិធានការដើម្បីសន្តិភាព។ ស្នាដៃសិល្បៈនេះនឹងត្រូវបានបង្កើតឡើងនៅក្នុងបរិវេណសាធារណៈ មានតម្លាភាព និងគ្មានអំពើហិង្សា ដែលអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យសាធារណជនសង្កេត និងកត់ត្រាការអំពាវនាវដោយសន្តិវិធីនេះពីសង្គមស៊ីវិលទៅកាន់ទស្សនិកជនសកល។ ការតាំងពិព័រណ៍នេះនឹងរក្សាទុកនៅនឹងកន្លែងកម្មវិធីនេះរហូតដល់ប្រទេសកម្ពុជាសម្រេចបានសន្តិភាពយូរអង្វែងជាផ្លូវការ។
Art for Peace begins 19 December in Siem Reap:
A collaborative project, Art for Peace will begin on 19 December until 23 December at the
»Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chom Garden in central Siem Reap, and is expected to include over 50 artists from different provinces of Cambodia working together to create a 5 meter by 30 meter artwork, composed of modular panels or large mural. Art has historically served as a peaceful yet powerful medium to communicate truth, pain, and hope beyond political boundaries, and the desire is that this event will give voice to civilians, honors heritage, and calls on the international community to take action for peace. The artwork will be created in a public, transparent, and non-violent setting, allowing the public to observe and document this peaceful call from civil society to a global audience. The exhibition is expected to remain in-situ until Cambodia officially achieves a lasting peace.
