Cambodia–China Education Cooperation Moves Forward Under Deputy Prime Minister’s Guidance

H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, met with a delegation led by Mr. Mo Shungan, Executive Director of the CICC Youth Development Department, along with representatives from China (Shenzhen) Education Enterprise Co., Ltd.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the upcoming MoU between CICC/YDD and Shenzhen Education Enterprise, which focuses on supporting Cambodia’s education modernization in three key areas:
• Basic, vocational, and medical education
• Teacher training
• International education cooperation
H.E. the Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the delegation and praised the MoU as a new milestone in Cambodia–China education cooperation. He emphasized that the initiative aligns with Cambodia’s Education Strategic Plan 2025–2030, especially in digital transformation and talent development. He also expressed appreciation for China’s support in bringing advanced educational technology and resources to Cambodia.
