Since 7 December 2025, Cambodia has been the target of an open and deliberate military aggression by the Thai armed forces along its western border. This is neither an isolated incident, nor an accidental clash, nor an uncontrolled escalation. It is a war that has been planned, acknowledged, and carried out by the Thai State. Land, air, and naval forces have been deployed simultaneously. Wherever the Thai army advances, it plants its flag on Cambodian soil. The attacks strike not only military positions but also civilians, essential infrastructure, temples, and historic Khmer monuments. Considering these facts, five fundamental truths must be stated.

1. Cambodia cannot be the aggressor
2. The law is on Cambodia’s side
3. Cambodia chooses the law; Thailand chooses weapons
4. Cambodia knows the cost of war
5. Thailand has declared and waged the war

We call upon the international community to name this aggression for what it is, to uphold international law, and to assume its responsibilities.

Please, international community, take a look at this. This is not a border dispute or a crime suppression operation. It is a blatant invasion by the Thai military against Cambodia. It is extremely brutal — they even drove tanks to destroy the homes and market stalls of innocent civilians.
We strongly condemn Thailand for these inhumane actions!
