It’s truly painful to witness this kind of situation happening in our generation when all we want is peace and the chance to develop our country. I can’t understand why Thailand continues to have this mindset of invading our land again and again. I wonder where their humanity is. It has been four days already, and they are still firing at us.
They never seem to think about what they’ve done—the destruction they’ve caused and the pain carried by innocent people, especially children. Around 80,000 of our people have had to evacuate their homes to search for safety. Many are now living in camps under harsh weather conditions without enough food. Children have had to postpone their education.
All of this suffering comes from a country that has repeatedly invaded us. Even the Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has not been spared. If they are not afraid to damage such a precious site, I fear what they might do next.
