PAS (Sihanouk Autonomous Port) is one of Cambodia’s main deep-sea ports, covering a total area of 124.5 hectares, located in Preah Sihanouk Province.
It is part of the Royal Government’s master plan to transform Sihanoukville into a model multi-purpose special economic zone and a key national economic gateway.
PAS is well connected to Phnom Penh through major transport routes:
• National Road 4: 230 km
• National Road 3: 244 km
• Railway: 264 km
• Expressway: 187 km
And only 17 km from Sihanouk International Airport.
Port Potential & Importance:
PAS plays a strategic role in Cambodia’s trade and logistics system. As a deep-sea port, it supports international shipping, import-export activities, and container handling, helping reduce transportation costs and improve efficiency.
It strengthens Cambodia’s position in regional trade, especially within ASEAN, and contributes to economic growth by attracting investment, boosting tourism, and supporting industrial development in the coastal area.
With continuous expansion and infrastructure improvement, PAS is becoming a key logistics hub that connects Cambodia to global markets.
