1. Can/Could: used to express possibility and ability.
Ex: It can be correct! ( possibility)
Ex: I can swim. ( ability)
2. Be able to: used to express ability.
Ex: I am able to complete my homework on time.
Form: can/could/be able to + infinitive
*Present simple : can = am/is/are able to
*Past Simple : could = was/were able to
*Present Perfect: have/has been able to
*Future: will be able to
*Verb pattern: hate being able to / hate not being able to ( -) / love to be able to
