It's the truth. Thai troops opened fire on Cambodian forces first on the morning of 24 July 2025. The Cambodian forces exercised their right to self-defense in response to the Thai militaryβs incursion. Cambodia wants peace Cambodia just protects the land and people.
ππ A Letter to My International Friends
What reasons would a small country have to start a conflict, especially War, when all we been doing is to get out of it? How come we wanted to start war with Thailand as our government stand strong to disolve the conflict peacefully by bring to case to ICJ ?
Iβd like to speak honest to the world, CAMBODIA had been through enough as our history carries deep scars of war and losses in the past. Look around today, there are peace signs everywhere in Cambodia as reflections of our true desire, to live in harmony, without fear, without violence, without any conflicts. How come we wanted to start war with other nations?
The international news and media itself need to speak the truth to the world without picked side.
As Cambodian citizen we need to speak louder to our international friends that CAMBODIA DOES NOT WANT WAR, WE WANT PEACE. We do not seek conflict, we ask the world to understand our position and to stand against any form of intimidation toward smaller nations. Cambodia may be small, but we stand proud, united, to defense our peace even we must face war again. π°π weβre just a victim who was silenced, never been heard, NOT ONCE
