Dear Participants,

Yesterday, October 7th, was a very fulfilling day for Platform BUSAN!

๐Ÿ’ฏ Everything started in the morning with the second Pitch & Meet session, which was very interesting and so full of interested attendees!

๐Ÿ—บ After that, in the early afternoon, the 'Cinematic Crossroads Revisited: Adapting Strategies in Global Cinema' talk by Ties That Bind & European Film Promotion was held, and we were glad a lot of you participated in it!

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Then, in the PB Lounge the 'Vis-ร -vis: Global Influences Reflecting in Film Storytelling' event gathered so many emerging Asian filmmakers who where interested in having a debate with European industry professional.

๐Ÿฅณ Finally, we hosted our Networking Night Part at Museon Vinyl Pub. We were so glad that many of you came there and enjoy good food and drinks in a lovely atmosphere while networking.

๐ŸŽฌ Now we are at out final Platform BUSAN day! Remember to join the third Pitch & Meet session at 10:00 am and the 'Film Fund Talk' talk, which will be held in the stage area.

๐Ÿ’ฏ Did you know that participating in Platform BUSAN can give you the great opportunity to take part in film talks and masterclasses held by world-renowned directors?

๐Ÿ”ฅ In 2019 the great Korean director Park Chan-wook held one talk during Platform BUSAN, and last year it was the turn of the acclaimed Iranian director, Mohsen Makhmalbaf.

๐Ÿ—บ Moreover, at Platform BUSAN you will be able to follow important sessions dedicated to film production or film funding. For example, in last yearโ€™s program there were sessions dedicated to films such as Plan 75 and Oasis of Now.

๐ŸŽฅ If you are an emergent Asian filmmaker interested in networking, then Platform BUSAN is the event for you! Apply now, we will be accepting applications until 19 August.
