South Korea President Lee Jae Myung calls for better human rights treatment of foreign workers after a controversial video of a Sri Lankan foreign worker being ridiculed while tied to a forklift surfaced online. The incident happened at a brick manufacturing plant in Naju, Jeollanamdo.

The Sri Lankan foreign worker in his 30s was harassed by his co-workers. In the 58-second video, the man was seen strapped to the bricks by tape on a forklift. His colleagues laughing and mocking him.

The foreign worker asked for help from the Gwangju Jeonnam Migrant Workers Network. The group called for an investigation and the now even the South Korean president has condemned calling the act "barbaric".

Korean netizens are also condemning the act.
