The Seoul Metropolitan Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that it is going to deploy a new 119 rescue dog, ‘Gugu’, to the 119 Special Rescue Team and put it into operation in earnest.🚨

Gugu (Labrador Retriever) joined the 119 Special Rescue Team as a new member after completing the professional training course for 119 rescue dogs. Gugu also obtained the first-class qualification for nationally certified combined mission for mountain areas and disasters.

Through specialized training courses conducted at the Central 119 Rescue Headquarters of the National Fire Agency, Gugu learned essential skills for searching for people at disaster sites, such as mountain or collapsed sites. 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

Gugu, the new 119 rescue dog, will be put into sites that is difficult for rescue teams to enter such as collapsed sites or mountain accident sites, and will carry out missions to search for people!🐕
