A day in Jinhae during Cherry Blossom 🌸🇰🇷
I know.. Cherry Blossom is over and everyone already shared their pics long ago. :D
But I want to keep them here as a memory (that’s what this whole account was for in the beginning) and I also want to give some tips if you plan to see it next year:
🌸 SAVE MONEY
It is one of the most expensive travel seasons, so you have to be prepared for pricier hotels and flights :(
🌸 CHECK THE DATES
Cherry Blossom USUALLY blooms between Mid/End of March to Beginning/Mid April. But it depends on the length of the winter, weather conditions and so much more. So every January/February, there is a forecast for it.
🌸 STAY LONG ENOUGH
The shorter your stay, the higher the risk that you’ll miss it in case the forecasted dates are wrong. So if you can, try to extend your stay as much as possible between mid March to early April.
🌸 MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS
2023 and 2024 showed me again how unreliable the forecast is. It can start earlier or later or it can be gone much faster than expected. It’s Mother Nature and that means change and unreliability. Keep in mind that those forecasts are never a guarantee and make the most of the trip either way!
🌸 BE FLEXIBLE
In case the forecast was not accurate, it helps a lot if you’re flexible. With that I mean Hotels, Trains, Day-Trips etc. I know that is tricky and usually ends up being more expensive, but if you REALLY want to see cherry blossom it might be worth the money/stress/time.
🌸 ENJOY!
Make the most of your trip, enjoy the views of blossoming cherry trees as long as they are in bloom and even if you miss it, try doing some research about other spring flowers popular before and after cherry blossoms! I will try to share some infos about other spring flowers too!
What else would you like to know? ☺️
