Dear Community Members,

We refer to the scheduled verdict of the constitutional court at 11:00 hrs on 4 April, and say that following information has been received from local authorities:

Currently, the Jongno-gu district and the Jung-gu district in Seoul are designated as ‘Special
Crime Prevention Zones’. Due to the scheduled announcement of the impeachment verdict
this coming Friday, traffic near the Constitutional Court will be restricted. Nearby palaces,
museums, and schools will also be temporarily closed. Anguk Station on Subway Line 3 will
also have its operations suspended, and subway trains will not stop there. Please be aware
that other major subway stations nearby may also be bypassed depending on the situation.
Moreover, as heavy traffic and crowding are expected throughout the city from Friday to
Sunday this week, we kindly ask you to avoid
areas where rallies and protests are taking place.

Update on flower blooming for spring 2025: Due to a cold February, flowers are expected to bloom later than last year.

The Korea Forest Service said blooming will start in mid-March on Jeju Island before spreading nationwide by early April. This winter's average temperature was minus 1.8 degrees Celsius, 2.5 degrees lower than in the same season last year.

Full bloom dates: ginger trees on March 26, azaleas on April 4 and cherry trees on April 6. A warm March could accelerate blooming.
