👿Lucinda's P.O.V👿

"Nice to meet you DENNIS SCOTT." Levon smirked.

"I actually meant to say; Nice To Meet You BITCH buy nah.... it's better to be nice at first sight." He added.

"Who the f*ck are you?!" Dennis shouted and i shook the more.

He's scaring me.

"Who are you to meddle into my affairs?!"

I shivered as his voice echoed in my ears.

"Mister, i'd appreciate it if u get your useless body out of my way!" He added but Levon stood still, not moving an inch.

"Levon...." I called, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Lucinda, stay still!" He commanded.

"Oh, he is your bodyguard?!" Dennis exclaimed in a mocking tone.

"Tell him to get outta my sight before i do what i won't regret!" He yelled and that brought back the memory i wish i had lost.

"Levon?...." I whispered before falling onto his back, darkness enveloping me.

🤩Levon's P.O.V🤩

"Lucinda?" I called.

"Lucy." I repeated but she isn't showing a sign of life in her, though she's breathing.

"Zinnia, call my f*cking dad!" I yelled and Zinnia hurriedly did, her hands fidgeting.

I brought my phone and called my personal assistant.

"John, be here in the next five minutes!" I ordered and dropped my phone.

"Lucy?" I called.

"Uncle is on his way." Zinnia informed.....

Seems this won't help.

I quickly dropped Lucy in the car and drive as fast as i can to my father's hospital, violating the traffic rules and regulations.

"Nothing must happen to Lucy." kept ringing in my head.

Oh lord, i need your help😭😭🙏....

😉Kyle's P.O.V😉

"Oh sweet morning." I yawned as is taggered to my window to stare at the morning sun.

The sun looks jovial and.....

and...

Guess...

It's my birthday!!!

I blazed out of my room to Von's room.

Crazy, i met him dressing.

Like....

What do i expect??

*Chuckles*

"Birthaday celebrant." He spreaded out hus arms and i ran into it, wrapping my tiny arms firmly around his waist.

"Happy birthday little brother." He kissed my hair and ruffled it, then broke the hug.

"Make three wishes and i'll try to make them come true." He squatted to my level and brushed my hair, smiling.

"Uhmm...." I hummed, thinking.

"I wish you have a girl. I wish your girl should come to my party and give me a present and i wish to go on a vacation with you and your girl during holiday." I said and he smirked.

"Still on this 'GIRL' thing?"

"Yeah, i'm obviously not backing out." I smirked.

"Okay then, i'm in." He grinned.

"That's my VON." I said and he smiled.

"Get ready for school, i don't wanna disturb you." I added.

"Okay, see ya later." He waved as i closed the door.

I got out of my car after packing well at the parking lot.

All the comments just flew past ny ear 'cause i din pay attention to anyone. All i was looking for is LUCINDA!

I rested on my car as i scanned the whole parking lot with my eyes.

Her car is obviously not here!

I was about to bring out my phone when a black sports car drove into the school compound with full speed, followed by Lucinda's car.

Great!

The bitch is here.

They (Lucy and Dennis) parked and came put of the car at the same time, a smirk slowly rising at the corner of his mouth.

"Wow! It's good to see you Lucy! How have you been?" His tone dropped into a mocking one as be took a step closer.

Now, it's obvious Lucinda is shivering.

Like a hero, i walked up to her and covered her with my jacket, then stood in front of her.

"He r***d me." She broke down into another round of tears.

"Levon, Dennis r***d me ruthlessly upon all my pleas, he r***d me to the extent of me landing in the hospital. I nearly became a nymphomaniac patient." She posted into MORE TEARS.

"Levon... Dennis nearly damaged me....."

"Shhh..... okay?" I drew her into a hug and she cried her eyes out.

"Last night...." She continued, still crying on my shirt.

"He sent me a message which says; I'M COMING BACK TO FINISH WHAT I STARTED. I'M GONNA DESTROY YOU."

"He won't, as long as i'm here, okay?" I patted her back and caressed her hair.

"O.. kay, but please, fulfill your promise."

"I will." I smiled and pecked her on the cheek.

"Awwn, look at your eyes, they're swollen." I pouted and she flashed me a smile.

"Let's go get a massage outside school." I helped her to stand up.

"Outside school?"

"Yeah, remember..... I'm Levon Bright." I smiled and she replied it, then we left.

"Can we go out this weekend?" Dave asked, kissing my knuckles while i blushed.

We are in the school garden, admiring the flowers.

"Um.... Yeah, i'm free this weekend." I replied, staring at the person sitting at a distance.

"What?" Dave also stood up.

"I'll be back." I wanted to leave but he stopped me.

"Crazy bitch." I cursed as i dip my phone into my pocket.

"So..... who do you suspect?" Levon asked as we settled in the school garden.

"Uhm.... actually.... i.. k.. i know." I stuttered fearfully.

"You know?" His eyes widened and i nodded, biting into my lower lip.

My greatest, fearful dream is about to come true.

"So, who is it?"

"Dennis." I sniffed.

"Who..... is Dennis?" He raised a brow.

"Dennis Scott, my ex-boy....boyfr.....boyfriend." I broke down into tears.

"It's okay..... no more words, okay?" He pulled me into a hug and i cried on his chest.

It hurts a lot!

My past hurts a lot!

He brought out his phone and texted someone, he then dip it back into his pocket.

"It will soon be over, i promise." He patted my back and i nodded.

Such a sweet guy🥰

Buh....

I still hate guys.

"Dennis Scott is my high school boyfriend. We started dating when i was 16 and back then, hr was 18. I loved him like crazy and when i say crazy, i mean CRAZY, i could die for him...." She started.

Awwn!

How i wish she could love me like CRAZY.

"All of a sudden, it was revealed on the school platform that Dennis is a ra**st but i never paid attention to it. I only believed the lie he told me." She continued.

I hope my informant is through with the assignment i gave him.

"We continued our relationship in love and that made me love him the more. The more i loved him, the more i went crazy..."

"Then, on the night of my 18th birthday, he suddenly called and asked me to come to his house. Foolishly and stupidly, i went there excitedly, thinking he had a gift for me.
Lo and behold, he had a gift for me but that was the ever last thing i could think of him doing." She broke down into uncontrollable tears.

"What did he do?" I asked anxiously.

She raised her head and stared into my eyes, tears streaming down her face, her lips shaking slightly.

"What do you mean by you can't find the person that wrote the letter?!" I yelled over the phone.

"If any of this gets to Lucinda, consider yourself gone!" I added, slamming my phone on the wall, running my fingers through my hair madly.

"Lucy, i promise, i promise to make things right, even if it turns me into a bad guy, i'll gladly do so." I murmured as i placed my head on the wall.

Well, i was a bad boy before!!!

"Unknown enemy, get ready." I raised up my head, brushed my hair with my fingers and was about to leave when i bumped into someone...

"I'm...." I was about to apologize when i saw who it is...

"Lucy?" My eyes widened.

She wrapped her arms around me and wept on my shirt.

S**t!!!

She overheard everything!

But...

Hold on...

Why is she hugging me?

I thought she said she'll never...

*Chckles inwardly*

"I... I..... I'm..." She sniffed as she wept the more. I wrapped my arms around her and caressed her back.

"Shhh, okay? Cry all you want, i'll be here for you." I whispered, patting her on the back.

"I'm sorry." She muttered against my chest.

"It's okay, you've done nothing wrong."

She sniffed and raised up her head.

"Will you fulfill your promise?" She asked, sniffing loudly.

"Will you fulfill it?" She hiccuped.

"Yes, i will." I smiled before slamming my lips on hers, kissing her deeply and she replied it immediatly, our lips moving in a slow rhythm.

Oh, how sweet her lips tasted!

And i finally got to kiss her lips!

I'm on cloud nine!!

I broke the kiss and kissed her forehead, then she wrapped her arms around me and snuggled on my chest.

"If we share three more kisses, we start dating, right?" I whispered into her ear and she raised her head, smiled and placed it back on my chest, nodding slightly.

"You're flattering me." She smacked me on the back.

"Let's get going before next lecture starts." I said and she nodded before we linked our arms and left the rooftop.

Crazy though!

But i got her within 24 hours.

"Let's have our lunch." I smiled at Zinnia, who is very anxious.

"C'mon, i'm anxious." She pouted and i smiled.

"Remember.... we need strength." I winked at her, munching my corndog.

"Fine!..." She rolled her eyes.

"I'll eat." She added, picking on her corndog.

"May i?" A guy appeared beside Zinnia, smiling.

"Oh, Dave, come on, stop acting naïve, you are free to." She blushed and i rolled my eyes.

This lady is obviously in love!

"Guys disgust me." I muttered.

"Hey, don't say that!" Zinnia nudged me.

"Whatever." I sighed and picked up my corndog.

"So.... Zinnia, have you thought about it?" The guy i suppose; Dave spoke staring at Zinnia.

"Ehm.... i..." She stuttered.

"Lucy, answer on my behalf." She whispered into my ear and i rolled my eyes.

"What's there to think about? She's in love already. She blushes when she sees you and whenever you smile at her, her heart skips a bit." I almost-yelled as if i'm the controller of her heart.

"Really?" Dave eyes widened as munched his corndog.

"Am i that handsome?" He smiled.

"Whatever!" I cursed under my breath.

"I'll take my leave now, so lovebirds, enjoy your lunch." I stood up, bowed and left.

Hmph!

Lovebirds my foot!

I still g*t some problems to take care of....

I smiled as i watch her walk our of the cafeteria.

She adjusted her backpack and something like a card mistakenly fell on the floor.

Without noticing, she exited through the hallway.

I raised an eyebrow as i walked up to the spot she just left and picked up the card.

I turned it over and saw it boldly written---

GET READY, I'M COMING, THE BATTLE IS YET TO BE FINISHED--- YOUR LOVE...
