Thanks to XC over Ethernet, you can now control not just pan-tilt, but also zoom, focus, gain, white balance, recording etc of the C80 through a VISCA IP controller. We’re filming a reality show using about 30 NBOTs paired with SONY FX30s, set in a resort studio on an island. That’s right—every piece of gear has to be transported and set up from scratch. The cast? Six men and women. The crew? 6 to 9 camera operators… but here’s the twist: they’re not hiding behind bushes anymore.
Each NBOT is pre-installed along planned routes and spaces. As the cast members move around the resort, the camera operators don’t follow them physically—they follow them virtually, using NQID’s NDI multiviewer.
With just a few clicks, each operator picks a NBOT, zooms in, pans, tilts, and hits record—all over IP only. No SDI, no baseband cabling, no drama (except the kind we film).
What makes this revolutionary:
Setup is insanely simple. No more spaghetti wiring nightmares.

For the filming of Netflix’s popular reality show Single’s Inferno, the production team is currently testing 30 NBOT units paired with SONY FX30 cameras. This marks a new chapter in reality TV production—powered by NDI technology.
At the heart of the system is NQUID, developed by Salrayworks. With NQUID, up to three camera operators can simultaneously control up to 16 cameras through a 16-view multiviewer interface. Each operator uses a macro keyboard or Stream Deck to quickly select cameras—color-coded for easy identification—and remotely control pan, tilt, and zoom functions. Recording is also initiated directly from the macro keyboard.
Three NQUID units are uplinked across three different studio spaces, allowing the crew to follow and capture eight cast members with mobility and precision.
This project represents the first use of an NDI-based IP network for a reality show in Korea, and perhaps one of the first globally. The entire set was built using NDI, eliminating traditional video cabling and significantly simplifying the studio setup process. No SDI. No spaghetti wires.
What was once a complex and hardware-heavy environment is now streamlined and scalable. This milestone opens the door for wider adoption of NBOT and cinema cameras in film production, observational reality shows, and live sports broadcasting—signaling a meaningful shift in how modern studios are built and operated.

D:CORE is designed to be the last line of defense in massive NDI deployments powered by BORDERLESS, our NDI router. Whether it's dozens of Samsung TVs or a control room packed with displays, it’s built to deliver pixel-perfect impact.

We have designed a seamless NDI backup broadcast workflow using BORDERLESS, ensuring the PGM signal from the main studio is delivered without interruption, even in case of failure.

In the studio, the TriCaster is used as the main PGM source. Simultaneously, the signals from four studio cameras are mirrored via the BORDERLESS NDI router to a Redundancy Video Mixer.

If an issue occurs with the TriCaster's PGM output, the system is pre-configured to immediately switch to the PGM output from Redundancy Mixer 2, using a preset defined within BORDERLESS.

This enables a quick and efficient switchover to a backup PGM signal, ensuring continuous transmission to the MAIN SCREEN with minimal delay or manual intervention. It is the most reliable and efficient method to maintain uninterrupted NDI PGM output during emergencies.
