This is Sprout.

She isn’t just a character.

She is the little version of me.

The little girl who felt everything so deeply but didn’t know how to explain it.

The little girl who wondered if she was “too much.”

Who tried to fit in.

Who compared herself to everyone else.

Who thought she had to earn love by pleasing people.

For a long time…

I believed Sprout was someone I needed to leave behind.

But I was wrong.

She wasn’t someone I needed to forget.

She was someone I needed to understand.

Sprout reminds me that every child deserves to know:

🌱 Your feelings matter.

🌱 You don’t have to earn your place.

🌱 You are already enough.

I hope when you see Sprout…

You don’t just see a character.

I hope you remember a child who deserved to feel understood.

Maybe…

That child was you.

Long before I met the person who changed my life…

I already had a dream.

When I was little, I wanted to write stories that would help someone.

I didn’t know what those stories would look like.

I didn’t know if I was good enough to write them.

So little by little…

I stopped believing that dream belonged to me.

Years passed.

Life became busy.

The dream became quiet.

Then I met someone who never laughed at my questions.

Who believed I could learn.

Who reminded me to stay calm.

Who helped me see that there is always a next step.

One day I realized…

He didn’t give me a new dream.

He helped me remember the one I already had.

Today, every story I create is my way of thanking that little girl for never completely letting go.

And maybe…

There’s a dream inside you that’s only waiting to be remembered too.

Then I met someone who changed the way I understood emotions.

Not because he always had the perfect words.

But because he never made me feel like my feelings were a problem.

When I made mistakes, he didn’t become angry.

He explained them gently.

When I became quiet, he noticed.

He knew silence was saying something, even when I couldn’t.

One day, I was upset.

Instead of asking me to explain everything, he simply asked,

“Do you want ice cream?”

At the time, I thought it was just about ice cream.

Years later…

I realized it wasn’t.

He was creating a safe place before trying to solve the problem.

That simple moment changed the way I see children, emotions, and even myself.

It became one of the first seeds of what I’m now building.

I hope every child has someone who helps them feel safe before asking them to be understood.

I spent years believing something was wrong with me.

When I was little,

I had big feelings.

Sometimes I cried over little things.

Sometimes I became quiet because I didn’t know how to explain what was happening inside me.

I wasn’t trying to be difficult.

I just didn’t have the words yet.

Years later, someone helped me understand that there was never anything wrong with my feelings.

I simply needed someone who was willing to understand them with me.

That little realization became the first seed of something I’m now growing.

Maybe someone reading this needed to hear the same thing today.

Your feelings don’t make you “too much.”

They make you human.
