US moves to revoke visas of some visitors who later seek asylum. The Trump administration is reportedly targeting B1 and B2 visa holders who entered the US for temporary business or tourism but later applied for asylum.

The State Department is working with Homeland Security to identify affected visa holders, with reports suggesting up to 200,000 people could potentially be impacted.

Visa cancellation would not automatically mean immediate deportation, with many people with pending asylum cases reportedly facing a change in status. The move is part of the administration’s broader immigration crackdown.
