LAU Alumni and Students Explore Humanitarian Careers with Médecins Sans Frontières:
The LAU Alumni Relations Office and the Student Services Office successfully hosted an online information session titled “Your Career Beyond Borders” in collaboration with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)- Lebanon on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
The interactive session drew the participation of around 35 alumni from diverse academic and professional backgrounds who were eager to learn more about career paths in humanitarian work abroad. Representatives from MSF shared valuable insights into the organization’s recruitment model, the skills and profiles most in demand, and the unique challenges and rewards of working in the field.
Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with MSF’s team, ask questions, and gain a clearer understanding of how professionals from various disciplines, such as health sciences, logistics, administration, communication, and more, can contribute to global humanitarian missions.
The event underscored LAU’s ongoing commitment to preparing and connecting its alumni with meaningful international opportunities that make a difference in the world.”
