Embraer and ENAER (National Aeronautical Company of Chile) today announced two industrial and services cooperation agreements involving the A-29 Super Tucano and the C-390 Millennium defense aircraft, as well as commercial aircraft. The cooperation will expand Embraer's network of suppliers and services in Chile and contribute to the integration of the aerospace industries in both Brazil and Chile.

Otokar aims to increase its presence in South America
Otokar, Turkey’s global land systems manufacturer participates in FIDAE 2024, the leading South American Airshow, between April 09-14, in Santiago, Chile. During the six-day exhibition, Otokar will display scaled model of ARMA 8x8, the wheeled armored vehicle with proven track records in diverse geographical conditions and climates around the world. Currently more than 500 ARMA vehicles serve in the inventories of nine users in five countries.

وقعت شركة «ميلريم روبوتكس» Milrem Robotics، الرائدة في تطوير الروبوتات والأنظمة المستقلة الأوروبية، التابعة لِـ EDGE Group، عقداً لتوريد 20 عربة قتالية روبوتية مجنزرة (RCVs) و40 عربة أرضية غير آهلة THeMIS (UGVs) إلى وزارة الدفاع الإماراتية. وتم الإعلان عن هذه الاتفاقية، التي تمثل أكبر برنامج للروبوتات القتالية في العالم، خلال فعاليات «معرض ومؤتمر الأنظمة غير الآهلة» UMEX 2024 الذي انعقد في مركز أبو ظبي الوطني للمعارض ADNEC من 22 ولغاية 24 كانون الثاني/يناير الفائت.

The Mechanised Infantry Vehicle (MIV) programme has moved into the start of formal customer Verification and Validation trials taking place at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedford UK. These trials will qualify the design against the MIV technical requirements, demonstrating the Boxer vehicle’s capability and performance for the British Army.

During the night between 18 and 19 January, Swedish time, Marcus Wandt, who works as the Chief Test Pilot at Saab, started his journey from the Kennedy Space Center to the International Space Station, ISS. Saab is one of the co-financiers of the project, aiming to ensure that Sweden remains at the forefront of space research.
