How Vehicle A/C work

🔧 Main Components

1. Compressor – The "heart" of the system. It compresses the refrigerant gas and pumps it through the system.

2. Condenser – Works like a small radiator at the front of the car. Hot, high-pressure refrigerant gas is cooled here and turns into liquid.

3. Receiver/Drier or Accumulator – Removes moisture and filters out impurities from the refrigerant.

4. Expansion Valve (or Or***ce Tube) – Reduces the pressure of the refrigerant, making it very cold.

5. Evaporator Coil – Located inside the dashboard. The cold refrigerant absorbs heat from the cabin air, cooling it down.

6. Blower Fan – Pushes the cooled air into the cabin through the vents.
