A thrilling afternoon of hockey unfolded as Ladies’ College and Bishop’s College battled for glory at the 19th Annual Hockey Encounter, held on the 4th of October 2025 at the Astro International Hockey Turf, Colombo.

Ladies’ College claimed the U17 title with a 2–1 win, while Bishop’s fought back strong to take the U19 match 1–0 under challenging rainy conditions. The encounter ended in true sporting spirit, with both teams proudly sharing the title as Joint Champions 2025.

Incanto 25, A Majestic Journey Through Musical Theatre, presented by the Senior and Junior Choirs of Musaeus College, was held on the 27th of September 2025 from 6.30 p.m. onwards at the Peter De Abrew Memorial Auditorium.

The evening was a harmonious celebration of musical theatre, where choristers brought the stage to life with passion, precision, and professionalism. Guided by the esteemed Musical Director, Soundarie David Rodrigo, the talented young voices delivered captivating performances that enthralled the audience and reflected the school’s rich choral tradition.

The “Pink Wednesday” initiative was launched at Musaeus College on 8th October 2025 under the Pink Day Foundation. The programme focuses on raising awareness of issues affecting women and families across Sri Lanka, while encouraging empathy, leadership, and social responsibility among students.

Coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event featured speeches by Mr. Roshan Mahanama, Dr. Lanka Dissanayake, representatives from the Indira Cancer Trust, and members of the school administration, including the Principal and Chairman of the college . The launch marks the beginning of an ongoing effort by Musaeus College to promote awareness and empowerment through education and meaningful engagement.

Musaeus College celebrated Children’s Day with “AERITH – Part 01” on the 1st of October from 8.00 a.m. onwards, organized by the Senior Prefects’ Guild 2025. The day was filled with creativity, laughter, and excitement as students came together to celebrate the joy of childhood.

An art exhibition was held at the Peter De Abrew Auditorium throughout the day, showcasing the artistic talents of the students. The Children’s Day programme featured singing, dancing, and drama performances, for the Primary Section from 8.15 a.m. to 10.15 a.m, followed by the Upper Section from 11.15 a.m. to 1.15 p.m.

Adding to the day’s fun, students enthusiastically took part in a live karaoke session, making it a truly memorable and joy filled celebration for all.
