Stepping into a candy-striped dream at the Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque (The Red Mosque). 🕌❤️ Built in 1908, this architectural gem in the heart of Pettah is a mix of Indo-Saracenic style and vibrant red-and-white patterns. Fun fact: It was once a landmark for sailors coming into Colombo Port! ⚓️🇱🇰

Whether you call it the Red Mosque or Rathu Palliya, its pomegranate-shaped domes and striking patterns are a must-see in Colombo.
