Memon Samachar page began as the online edition of the Memon Association of Sri Lanka Hussein Bhaila. After that it was entrusted to Mr. Initiated by Mr.

The Samachar Magazine commenced publication in 1998 during the presidency of Mr. Its first editor was Abdul Razak, popularly known as Memon Kavi. He was followed by Hameed Karim Bhoja under whose editorship Samachar became much more than a conventional news bulletin. Riyaz Sangani and Azeez Alimohamed. Hussein Bhaila, all following presidents continued the good work, namely Mr. Jafer Sattar Katliy

a, Mr. M.H.Omar, Dr. Haroon, Mr. Anis Sattar and so on of producing The Samachar magazine and making it better year after year. With the rise of social media platforms becoming a primary information outlet, this page has gone on to become the primary source of disseminating all news and information with regard to the memon community in Sri Lanka to the world.

For children aged 5 and above — categorized by age groups to inspire hearts and minds with love for the Prophet ﷺ.

To register for the competition, please fill the online form provided.

*Application Deadline - 18th of August*
*Competition Date - 24th of August (Age will be calculated as of this date)*

This event is open for all boys and girls of the following age groups,
Under 7 (Ages 5 and above)
Under 9
Under 12
Under 15
Under 19

Applicants can choose to participate in these competitions,

- Quiz - Group (Only Under 12, 15 & 19)
- Speech (Only Under 12, 15 & 19)

Boys and girls will be judged separately by male/female judges.

A Proud Moment for the Memon Community in Sri Lanka
