සමාජ මාධ්ය හරහා ළමුන් සහ කාන්තාවන්ගේ පුද්ගලික ඡායාරූප සහ ලිංගික දර්ශන මිල දී ගැනීම සහ අලෙවි කිරීමේ මාර්ගගත ජාවාරමක් සම්බන්ධවයි.
මුහුණුපොත (Facebook) ප්රමුඛ සමාජ මාධ්ය අවකාශයන් තුළ සමූහ (Groups) මගින් ළමුන්ගේ සහ කාන්තාවන්ගේ ලිංගික දර්ශන සහ පුද්ගලික ඡායාරූප මිලදී ගන්නා සහ මුදලට අලෙවි කරන මාර්ගගත ජාවාරමක් පිළිබඳ අප වෙත වාර්තා වී ඇත.
තවද මේ දිනවල සමාජ මාධ්ය ක්රියාකාරීන් විසින් දැනටමත් මෙම තත්වය පිළිබඳ පරිශීලකයින් දැනුවත් කරමින් ලිපි සහ වීඩියෝ පට විශාල ප්රමාණයක්ද ප්රචාරය කර ඇත.
ඒ අනුව අප විසින් සිදු කළ මූලික සොයා බැලීම් හරහා අනාවරණය කරගත් කරුණු සහිතව ශ්රී ලංකා පොලිස් ළමා හා කාන්තා කාර්යාංශය සහ පරිගණක අපරාධ විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය වෙත යොමු කර ඇත.
අදාළ සමූහ පරීක්ෂා කිරීමේ දී ඒවා තුළ ව්යාජ ගිණුම් හරහා තම සමීපතමයින්ගේ ඡායාරූප සහ වීඩියෝ පට මෙසේ විකිණීමට උත්සාහ කරන බව පෙනුනු අතර තම පවුලේම සාමාජික කාන්තාවන්ගේම ඡායාරූප සහ වීඩියෝ පට මෙලෙස බෙදාහැරීමට උත්සාහ කරන අවස්ථාද නීරීක්ෂණය විය.
එසේම මෙම සමූහ බොහොමයක් විදේශ රටවල සිට මෙහෙයවන බවද හඳුනාගැනීමට හැකිවිය.
ඔබ පවුලේ කාන්තාවන් සහ ළමුන් ඔබ නිවස තුළදීම මෙලෙස අනාරක්ෂිත වීමේ අවදානම පවතින බැවින් දෙමව්පියන් තම දරුවන්ගේ සමාජ මාධ්ය භාවිතය පිළිබඳ සහ ඔවුන් ඒ හරහා ඇසුරු කරන මිතුරන් පිළිබඳව අවදානයෙන් පසුවන ලෙස කාරුණිකව දැනුම් දෙමු.
තවද ඔබ පවුලේ අයෙකු එවැනි ජාවාරමක ගොදුරක් වන බවට, ඇබ්බැහි වූවෙකු වන බවට නිරීක්ෂණය වුවහොත් ඔවුන් මනෝ සමාජයීය උපදේශනය වෙත යොමු කිරීමට හෝ අනෙකුත් නෛතික සහය ලබා ගැනීමට 1938 සහ 1929 ගාස්තු රහිත උපකාරක සේවා දුරකථන අංක හරහා හැකියාව සළසා දී ඇත.

ஃபேஸ்புக் (Facebook) உள்ளிட்ட சமூக ஊடகத் தளங்கள் மூலம் பெண்களதும், சிறுவர்களதும் தனிப்பட்ட புகைப்படங்களை உள்ளடக்கிய மற்றும் பாலியல்ரீதியான உள்ளடக்கங்களை வாங்கி விற்கும் இணையவழி கடத்தல் நடவடிக்கை ஒன்று அறியப்பட்டுள்ளது.
கிடைக்கப்பெற்ற தகவலின்படி, ஃபேஸ்புக் மற்றும் பிற சமூக ஊடகத் தளங்களில் இயங்கும் குழுக்கள் பணலாபத்திற்காக, பெண்களதும், சிறுவர்களதும் பாலியல்ரீதியான வீடியோக்களையும், தனிப்பட்ட புகைப்படங்களையும் வாங்குவதற்கும் விற்பதற்கும் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன.
கடந்தசில நாட்களில், பல அமைப்புக்களும், சமூக ஊடகச் செயற்பாட்டாளர்களும் இது குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வினைப் பொதுமக்களுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் ஏராளமான பதிவுகளையும் வீடியோக்களையும் வெளியிட்டுள்ளனர்.
அமைச்சினால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட முதற்கட்ட விசாரணைகளின் அடிப்படையில், தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள செயற்பாடுகள் தொடர்பான தகவல்களும் கண்டறிதல்களும் மேலதிக விசாரணைக்காக இலங்கை பொலிசாரின் சிறுவர் மற்றும் பெண்கள் துஷ்பிரயோக தடுப்புப் பணியகம் மற்றும் கணினி குற்ற விசாரணைப் பிரிவு ஆகியவற்றிற்குப் பரிந்துரை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.
சம்பந்தப்பட்ட குழுக்களைப் பரிசோதித்தபோது, தனிநபர்கள் தங்களுக்கு நெருக்கமானவர்களின் புகைப்படங்களையும் வீடியோக்களையும் விற்பனை செய்யும் முயற்சியில் போலிக் கணக்குகளைப் பயன்படுத்துவது அவதானிக்கப்பட்டது. சில சந்தர்ப்பங்களில், தங்களது சொந்தக் குடும்பங்களைச் சேர்ந்த பெண் உறுப்பினர்களின் புகைப்படங்களையும் வீடியோக்களையும் விநியோகித்து விற்கும் முயற்சிகளும் அவதானிக்கப்பட்டன.

Online Trafficking of Private Photos and Sexual Content of Women and Children Reported Through Social Media
An online trafficking operation involving the buying and selling of private photographs and sexual content of women and children through social media platforms, particularly Facebook, has been reported.
According to information received, groups operating on Facebook and other social media platforms are being used to purchase and sell sexual videos and private photographs of women and children for monetary gain.
In recent days, social media activists have also published a large number of posts and videos raising public awareness about this situation.
Based on preliminary inquiries conducted by the Ministry, information and findings relating to the reported activities have been referred to the Sri Lanka Police Bureau for the Prevention of Abuse of Children and Women and the Computer Crime Investigation Division for further investigation.
During the examination of the relevant groups, it was observed that individuals were using fake accounts to attempt to sell photographs and videos of people close to them. In some instances, attempts were also observed to distribute and sell photographs and videos of female members of their own families.
It has also been identified that many of these groups are being operated from overseas, making this a serious and complex online safety concern.
The Ministry urges parents and guardians to remain vigilant about their children's use of social media and to pay close attention to the individuals with whom their children communicate and interact through these platforms.
Women and children may face the risk of becoming victims of such activities even within the safety of their own homes. Therefore, parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to take appropriate measures to protect children from online exploitation and abuse.
If you observe that a family member has become a victim of such an online operation or is experiencing harmful or addictive behaviour associated with such activities, assistance is available through the 1938 and 1929 toll-free helplines. These services provide access to psychosocial counselling and other legal and support services.
The Ministry of Women and Child Affairs further informs the public that this situation has received its full attention and that necessary urgent interventions are being undertaken to prevent women and children from becoming victims of such online exploitation and to take appropriate action against those involved.
