Amongst the misty peaks of the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka, lies the quaint little village of Nanuoya. It is located within Nuwara Eliya District in the Central Province and is situated approximately 8 km away from Nuwara Eliya.
From Nuwara Eliya you can cross the Nanu Oya and turn right at Radella Shortcut Road to reach this small but beautiful waterfall located in the Glassaugh Estate. If the water level in Nanu Oya is low during the rainy season, this waterfall is only a small stream.

Galle is a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It’s known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip.

Galle Fort is the most beautiful coastal town in Sri Lanka. Here, life slows down as locals play cricket alongside the beach, travelers walk on the ancient fort walls, and street vendors sell fresh tropical fruit under the palm trees. Its history makes it a melting pot of culture, with a unique fusion of European and Asian influences, as seen in the whitewashed Dutch-style buildings that line the cobbled streets.
