සමහර දවස් වලට කතා කරන්න පුළුවන් නම්
නුඹට කියයි අම්මා ගැන..
නුඹ වෙනුවෙන් කරන කැපකිරිම
ආදරය සෙනෙහස
කොයි තරම්ද කියලා

නින්ද නැ..
විවෙකය නෑ
තෙහෙට්ටුවෙන්
මුළු ඇගම විඩාබර වෙලා
එත් අම්මා..
නුඹ වෙනුවෙන් ඒ හැමදේම
හැමදාම හරි ආදරයෙන්
නුඹව රකින්න හැමදේම කරනවා..

රැයක් එලිවෙනකල්ම
එක පැත්තකට වෙලා
නින්ද ආවත් නොනිදා නුඹව
ආරක්ෂා කරනවා

දන්නවද පුතේ..
නුඹේ උණුහුම
අම්මාට මහමෙරක්
නුඹ හයියෙන් ගන්න හුස්මට පවා
අම්මා නුඹ ගැන වද වෙනවා

ආදරේ කොච්චර ද කියලා
කියන්න වචන වලින්
අදටත අම්මා දන්නේ නෑ..

පුතේ ඉක්මනට නුඹ ලොකු වෙන්න
අත් අල්ලගෙන ඇවිදින්න
අම්මා බලන් ඉන්නවා..

වෙහෙසකර දවස් ගත වෙලා යයි
නුඹ තනියෙන් පියඹන දවසට
