The digital restoration and colouring of "Mihidum Sihina" (1982) is a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Vijaya Kumaranatunga on his birthday. This iconic film, featuring the captivating performances of Vijaya and the enchanting Malini Fonseka, beautifully captures one of the most beloved love stories in Sri Lankan cinema.

The movie was directed by Daya Wimalaweera, and with its evocative melodies composed by Sarath Dasanayake, brought to life by the melodious voices of H R Jothipala and Angeline Gunathilake, the film resonates with deep emotional richness. As we celebrate his legacy, the enhanced visuals and sound will evoke nostalgia and honour the artistry that made Vijaya Kumaranatunga a cherished icon in Sri Lankan cinema.
