Koneswaram Temple of Trincomalee (Tamil: திருக்குக்கார் கில்) or Thirukonamalai Konesar Temple – The Temple of the Thousand Pillars and Dakshina-Then Kailasam (Southern / Ancient Kailash) is a classical-medieval Hindu temple complex in Trincomalee, a Hindu religious pilgrimage center in Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. The most sacred of the Pancha Ishwarams of Sri Lanka, it was built significantly during the ancient period on top of Konesar Malai, a promontory overlooking Trincomalee District, Gokarna bay and the Indian Ocean. The monument contains its main shrine to Shiva in the form Kona-Ishvara, shortened to Konesar.

Tabebuia rosea, රෝස poui ලෙසද හැඳින්වේ, සහ රෝස හොරණෑ ගස[2] යනු මීටර් 30 (අඩි 98) දක්වා වර්ධනය වන නව නිවර්තන ගසක් වන අතර පියයුරු උස සෙන්ටිමීටර 100 (අඩි 3) දක්වා විෂ්කම්භයක් කරා ළඟා විය හැකිය. ස්පාඤ්ඤ නාමය roble de sabana, එහි අර්ථය "savannah oak", කොස්ටාරිකාවේ බහුලව භාවිතා වේ, එය බොහෝ විට දැඩි ලෙස වනාන්තර විනාශ වූ ප්‍රදේශවල පවතින නිසා සහ එහි දැව ඕක් ගස්වලට සමාන වීම නිසා විය හැකිය.[3] එය එල් සැල්වදෝරයේ ජාතික ගස වන අතර එය "මැකිලිෂුවාට්" ලෙස හැඳින්වේ.

Tabebuia rosea, also called pink poui, and rosy trumpet tree[2] is a neotropical tree that grows up to 30 m (98 ft) and can reach a diameter at breast height of up to 100 cm (3 ft). The Spanish name roble de sabana, meaning "savannah oak", is widely used in Costa Rica, probably because it often remains in heavily deforested areas and because of the resemblance of its wood to that of oak trees.[3] It is the national tree of El Salvador, where it is called "Maquilíshuat".

Nelum Kuluna (Sinhala: नेलुम कुलुना; Tamil: தமாரிக் கவுர்), also known as the Colombo Lotus Tower, is a 351.5 m (1,153 ft) tall tower in Colombo, Sri Lanka.[1][2] It is known as an iconic landmark in Sri Lanka.[3] As of 2019, the tower is the tallest self-supporting structure in South Asia; Second tallest structure in South Asia after India's INS Katbomman; 11th tallest tower in Asia and 19th tallest tower in the world.[3][4] It was originally proposed to be built in the suburb of Peliyagoda, but later the Sri Lankan government decided to change the location.[5] The lotus shaped tower is used for communication, observation and other recreational facilities. Construction is estimated to have cost US$113 million.[6]
