⭐ WHY THE 250 SL IS SPECIAL

The 250 SL was produced for a relatively short period between 1966 and 1968, with only around 5,200 examples built. This makes it the rarest of the three main W113 SL models: the 230 SL, 250 SL and 280 SL.

Mercedes-Benz improved the 250 SL with a more powerful 2.5-liter engine, increased torque, rear disc brakes and other refinements while maintaining the beautiful proportions of the W113.

🏛️ THE FAMOUS “PAGODA”

The legendary nickname comes from the optional removable hardtop. Its unique concave roof shape resembles the curved roof of a pagoda, giving the W113 one of the most recognizable silhouettes in automotive history.
