Maris Volleyball Fiesta III, organised by the Maristonians Sports Association, was held in great pride, bringing together young talent, teamwork, and sporting spirit. The tournament saw intense competition among 12 participated schools, with every match filled with energy and determination. After a thrilling series of games, Loyola College Negombo emerged as the Champions, displaying outstanding skill and unity on the court. Dammissara National College secured the 1st Runners-up position, showcasing remarkable talent and resilience throughout the tournament. The Fiesta not only highlighted the competitive spirit of the players but also strengthened fellowship and passion for the game of volleyball.

They will participate in different programs that are happening alongside with the 23rd General Chapter of the Marist Brothers. The 23rd General Chapter of Marist Brothers will be held in Tagaytay, from September 8 to October 8, 2025. The theme is Home for All, River of Life. As a representative assembly, the Chapter will focus on defining the direction of the Marist Institute for the coming years, with particular emphasis on a renewed zeal for bringing Christ’s message to children and young people throughout the world.

The much anticipated Awards Day 2025 of our college was held with great pride and dignity, bringing together students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests to celebrate the academic excellence of our young Maristonians. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Geethal Siriwardane, Senior Lecturer at the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, a proud Old Boy and a former President of the Educational Media Unit, who attended as the Chief Guest. Outstanding students were recognized and honored for their exceptional performance in academics and extra curriculars. The day also featured captivating performances, adding color and vibrance to the occasion. Awards Day 2025 was not only a celebration of achievement but also a reflection of the unwavering dedication of the teachers and students.
