The guy who was training to become a pilot a few years ago wouldn’t believe where he is now.

For the longest time,
I dreamt of a career in aviation.
Flying planes, travelling, exploring the world.

Sounds like the dream, right?

The funny thing is…

I’m not living that dream anymore.
I’m living a bigger one.

Over the past few years, I realised something about myself:

I’m a creator.
I’m ambitious af
I love building things.
I love the process.
And marketing genuinely fascinates me.

I wanted my creativity to become a career.
Something that challenged me, and gave me freedom.

So I took a BIG risk, dropped out and started building.

And here’s the truth:
Creating content changed EVERYTHING for me.

It opened doors I didn’t even know existed.
Started conversations with people I never would’ve met.
Built trust before I ever walked into a room.

That’s the power of attention.
Everyone’s glued to their phones now.
And most people are invisible, not because they’re bad,
but because they’re quiet.

Everyone( and me )shared their wins from 2025.

But reflecting on your mistakes matters more.
Because fixing one mistake can completely change your results.

So here’s a vulnerable one from me.

The biggest mistake I made in 2025?
Trying to be a perfectionist.

When I compared my progress from 2024 to 2025, I could clearly see growth.
I pushed.
I moved things forward.

But then I asked myself a harder question:
What’s the one thing I could’ve done differently to experience exponential growth?

The answer was obvious.

I waited too long.

LinkedIn content had to be 110% “perfect” before posting

Every caption went through endless revisions

Client decks were tweaked 20… 50… 200 times before sending

Ideas stayed in drafts instead of going live

Decisions were delayed when speed mattered more than polish

The result?
Content that never got published
Slower momentum from client → close
Leads dropping off due to delayed follow-ups
Missed opportunities that required speed, not perfection
Energy wasted on refining instead of shipping

Perfection didn’t protect me.
It slowed me down.

So I’m fixing that.
2026 is about documenting, not polishing.

I still consider myself early in the journey.
I don’t have everything figured out yet.
I’ll share the wins.
The losses.
And everything in between.

But what I refuse to do in 2026
is hold back.

The only direction now is forward.
