Breaking News: Man Allegedly Cuts Off Neighbor’s Wife’s Hand in Ganta City.

A man believe to be in his 38 years allegedly cut off his neighbor's wife left hand.
The incident occurred in the Jacob Town Zone 2 community Ganta City, Nimba County. The man identified as Daniel Tokpah, who is an instructor at Nimba University, allegedly cut off the left hand of his neighbor’s wife. The violent act was reportedly triggered by the woman passing through his yard.

The brutal act by Daniel Tokpah incited anger among the residents of the community. An enraged crowd swiftly responded by setting fire to the home belonging to Tokpah. The situation quickly escalated as emotions ran high in response to the gruesome assault on the neighbor’s wife.

Nimba county senator narrowly escape an alleged attack in Nimba

As the campaign activity gears up for the run-off election in Liberia, Nimba two senators with the rescue team escaped narrowly in Zuolay town Nimba county electoral district #3 after been allegedly attacked by Anthony Queewonkpa the son of the late general Thomas Queewonkpa.

The incident occured when the Senators along with the rescue team was on a campaign trip around Nimba today November 10,2023.

According to Senator Prince Johnson, Anthony Queewonkpa early send him text telling him to not enter his town (Zuolay) with with any campaign activity, failure to adhere to this, you will met resistance.
The senator added that he and the rescue team did take the text message serious and went to the town and the entire Town was empty like a ghost town.
The senator stressed out that while trying to get to the town chief, the team saw Anthony Queewonkpa and his gangs coming with Force and attack them leaving four persons wounded and presently undergoing treatment at the Ganta United Methodist hospital.

The alleged attack also left one of the rescue team vehicles damaged and according to Senator there were discharge of fire arms especially single barrow gun and his men seized two fire arms and turn over to the Liberia National Police.

The senator closed up by saying Anthony Queewonkpa is a stupid man by attacking him senator Johnson a trained tactical man, if he PYJ was not up for peace, he could have used his tactical technique to burn all the houses of that Town, but he couldn't do it cause the people are all his people who voted him.

Meanwhile, he calling on the government to lunch an investigation in the meter.

How ever, Anthony Queewonkpa was contacted via telephone and he said it was the Senator rescue team who try to beat him in his own Town and he only avoided them because of peace and the love of his people.
He also used the occasion to called on the Nimbains to reject the Rescue team comes November 14.

MAN 18 ALLEGEDLY KILLED HIS 11 YEARS OLD BROTHER IN NIMBA.

18 Years old man identified as T-Boy Dickson has allegedly killed his 11 years old brother Emmanuel Dickson in Zarzahn town district #9, Nimba County.
According to Mr Mc-Dickson Borgor grandfather of the two boys, he as an old blind man who doesn't see, was sitting in his porch Monday afternoon about 2:00pm when T- Boy Dickson and his little brother Emmanuel Dickson came from school and went in their room to change their uniforms as usual, and my wife was in the kitchen preparing food.
The old man added that after eating the entire yard got quire thinking that the two boys gone to the farm, not knowing they were still in the house; about 3:30pm he heard a sound like a gun in the house and he started hearing cross section of noise behind the house including his wife crying for help and he cannot see and don’t know what was happening.

Mr. Merphy Gboyea an eye witness and a neighbor narrated that after the gum sounded, he got at the scene and met T- Boy Dickson holding the lifeless body of his little brother Emmanuel Dickson in his hands trying to put back the intestines of the little boy that came out of his tomach and shouting he will kill himself as well.
The eye witness added that after T- boy realized his little brother was dead, he dropped the body as once and jumped in the bush with a short single barrel gun threating to kill anyone whose will follow him in the bush.

Meanwhile the district authorities including LNP and some health practitioners went to the scene for more investigation.
The Liberia National Police (LNP) continues their investigation while the district authorities including citizens of Zarzahn are in the forest in search of the alleged perpetrator.
However, Cyrus Dickson uncle to the two boys was arrested with a long single barrel gun with empty gun shell in his room in the same house where the incident occurred, and he is currently in Tappita police custody undergoing investigations.

Ivorians Voters Disrupted Several Polling Centers In Nimba

Voting activities have come to a standstill in two of Nimba County electrical Districts.

The incident occurred on Tuesday up to present there have been no elections activities there.

Huge numbers of Ivorians Voters Disrupted Several Polling Centers In Beo- Lontuo Town in district number 4 and Gruizianplay Town in district number 5 respectively.

The Ivorians - Liberians Votes cross into Liberia to cast their votes at about 6:45 PM after National Election commission close polling places that across the Country.
The aggreived Ivorians Voters demanded NEC workers to cast their votes but was not allowed a situation that brought the aggreived Ivorians Voters to Disrupted Several Polling Centers and placed NEC workers under house arrest.

Following the incident, huge numbers of state securities have been deployed in the two districts.

The national election commission workers have been released after the Securities enter the Towns.
No arrest have been made
