WEA, BUU-YAO DISTRICT, NIMBA COUNTY — Representative Hon. Kortor Sehwongbay Kwagrue is advancing construction works on the long-awaited Tuah Bridge in Benwae Town, with ongoing activities now at the steel rod tying stage.

The Tuah Bridge, which is expected to improve connectivity among Wea, Benwae, and Beadatuo communities, has been a longstanding concern for residents in the area. Citizens have, over the years, called for the bridge to be addressed, citing its importance to transportation, movement, and local economic activities.

Construction work is currently progressing at the site, with workers engaged in the tying and preparation of steel rods as part of the bridge’s structural development.

The ongoing work has generated renewed hope among residents, particularly those who have experienced difficulties crossing the area, especially during challenging periods when transportation and movement become more difficult.

The bridge project forms part of Representative Kwagrue’s ongoing development initiatives in Buu-Yao District. Upon completion, the Tuah Bridge is expected to enhance movement between the affected communities and facilitate the transportation of people, agricultural products, and other goods.
