Press Club Star Acce L. Kuoh Credits Jesus Love Academy for Her Growth

Ganta, Nimba County – Acce L. Kuoh, Lead Presenter of Jesus Love Academy’s press club, is beaming with pride over her team’s achievements. In an exclusive interview on June 9, 2026, Kuoh shared how the school and its press club have shaped her personal and academic life.

Kuoh, who led Jesus Love to a 3rd-place finish at the 2024 Youth Media Action regional press club exhibition in Gbarnga, B**g County, and served as assistant Lead Presenter in the team’s 4th-place national exhibition in Monrovia in 2025, credits the school’s supportive environment. "Since I entered this school, I’ve enjoyed everything—the love, peace, and unity among students and teachers," she said.

Under her leadership, Jesus Love Press Club earned top rankings among Ganta’s Junior High Schools. Kuoh praised her peers, saying, "I trust every member’s ability; they’re all good to lead."

She encouraged fellow students to "keep up what they started—it’s your time to take Jesus’ Love to another level," Kuoh noted. She urged parents to enroll their children at Jesus Love Academy for a brighter future.

Thanks to the press club, she expressed. Kuoh and other formers like Nelries Darwon and Edna Nyah now work with local radio stations in Ganta. "I appreciate the school administration’s hard work—keep up the good work," she said.

A standout student leader, Kuoh previously served as Jesus Love Academy’s vice president. Her story highlights the school’s impact on nurturing talent and confidence in its students.

Press Club Helps New Student Overcome Shyness at Jesus Love Academy

A new student at Jesus Love Academy, Jennifer Gbayeah, is thriving academically and credits the school's press club for helping her overcome her fear of public speaking.

Jennifer, who joined the press club, said she used to be extremely shy, but with the club's support, she's now confident in speaking in front of crowds. "Things are now okay," she said, smiling. "I can stand among people and read without fear."

The hardworking student, who is eager to learn, praised the club for its role in her transformation. "I don't want to leave the school," she said. "I'll stay to continue my studies and become bright like other students in the club."

Jennifer's story is an inspiration to her peers, showcasing the impact of the press club's efforts in building confidence and leadership skills. The club continues to nurture students like Jennifer, helping them grow into capable and articulate individuals.

Jesus' Love Academy Gets a Boost from Student Leadership

On May 18, 2026 Alinton Wondea, student council president at Jesus' Love Academy, launched his first projects, unveiling a new Liberian flag to replace the old one and introducing cement-made class cue identifications. Wondea pledged to continue delivering for the students, saying he's just getting started.

Speaking on behalf of the administration, the Program Director, Bro. Jackson K. Beah praised Wondea and his team for keeping their promises, encouraging future leaders to follow suit.

Wondea expressed gratitude to the students for electing him, promising to work hard to meet their expectations. The initiative has boosted school spirit, with students and faculty alike appreciating the fresh energy.
