Buchanan, Grand Bassa County[May 29, 2026] โ The Liberia Opportunities Industrialization Center (LOIC) Buchanan Program has proudly graduated 203 students from its 24th training cycle, marking another milestone in the institution's commitment to skills development and youth empowerment in Liberia.
The graduation ceremony, held at the school's auditorium, brought together graduates, government officials, educators, family members, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the students after months of intensive vocational and technical training.
The graduates successfully completed programs in various disciplines designed to equip them with practical skills and knowledge needed to compete in the job market and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Speaking during the ceremony, Mr. Charles Davis, Manager Buchanan program commended the graduates for their dedication, resilience, and determination throughout the training period. He encouraged the students to apply the skills acquired responsibly and become ambassadors of positive change in their communities.
"This graduation is not just the end of a training program; it is the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of these young men and women. The skills you have acquired here should serve as tools for self-reliance and national development," Mr. Davis stated.
The event was highlighted by presentations, and the official awarding of certificates to the graduates, drawing applause from attendees.
