Eleven out of the twelve jurors voted guilty against the defendants with one voting not guilty.
Meanwhile, the legal team of the former Chief Justice has taken an appeal to the Supreme Court to review the ruling of the trial jurors.
Our judicial correspondent said during a counter-argument with both the prosecution and the defence team, the prosecution maintained that there was no break-in on the home of Cllr. Scott on the night of the incident.
According to the prosecution, they had proven their case beyond all reasonable doubt and the jurors should hand down a guilty verdict against the defendants.
The prosecution claimed Cllr. Scott used pepper spray, which was applied to the victim stressing that such action could not allow the alleged perpetrator to escape the scene.
For their part the defence argued that all of the prosecution witnesses did not link any of the defendants to the killing of the deceased.
Meanwhile, the legal team of Cllr. Scott and the other defendants has taken a flight to the Supreme Court.
