On January 24, 2025, Grand Bassa University in Buchanan, Liberia, held its 8th Graduating Class Leadership Elections, a significant event marking the culmination of academic journeys for many students. The elections aimed to fill key positions, including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Financial Secretary, to lead the graduating class.

In the days leading up to the elections, the university organized a series of debates to provide a platform for candidates to present their visions and plans. These debates were broadcast live, allowing the university community to engage with the candidates' proposals.

The election day was characterized by a spirit of camaraderie and democratic participation. Students gathered at designated polling stations across the campus, casting their votes to determine their representatives. The process was overseen by the university's electoral committee to ensure fairness and transparency.

The results of the elections were eagerly anticipated, with the newly elected leaders expected to play pivotal roles in organizing graduation activities and representing the interests of their peers. The university community looks forward to the contributions these leaders will make as they prepare to transition from academic life to their future endeavors.

The successful conduct of the 8th Graduating Class Leadership Elections underscores Grand Bassa University's commitment to fostering leadership and active participation among its students, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
