Madam Alice Baysah Representative Aspirant of District 5, Margibi County put a smile on the faces of the people of her District for the Christmas season
To spend and celebrate Christmas with the residents of the district, Madam Alice T Baysah, CEO of Friends of Alice's (FOA) and Representative Aspirant, District #5, Margibi County, travels to Paye Town, Gbafien Clan on December 23, 2022. Upon her arrival in Paye Town, Madam Alice T. Baysah and the FOA were given a traditional welcome by the Elders and residents of Paye Town.
As a way of identifying with her people, on December 24, Madam Alice T. Baysah
* Donated four solar lights to Paye Town worth L$54,000.00 as a way of providing electricity to the people of the town;
* Gave children in Paye Town, Nana Town, Peter Town, Gargbay Town, and the surrounding areas Christmas clothing;
* Convened a two-day WIN-WIN tournament that included participants from Paye Town, Lonfay Town, Poye Town, Wohn Town, and Gleegbar Town, among other towns. The tournament was organized for young people to essentially get to know one another and to meet the political leader of Friends of Alice and District 5 Representative Aspirant in person as a way of uniting the youth;
* Gave 17pcs of Christmas Lappa to the female residents of Balank Town;
* Gave L$35,000 to the people of Tucker Town and L$15,000 to elders and residents from neighboring villages who attended the event at Tucker Town;
* Provided 30pcs of Christmas lappa to Tucker Town;
* Gave L$5,000.00 and 15pcs of Christmas lappa to Moses Town;
* Pledge L$50,000.00 to Balank Town for Micro Loan as requested by the town
Madam Alice Baysay observed the official day designated as Christmas Day on December 25 and
* Distributed medical supplies worth L$110,000.00 to the residents of the Gbafin Clan and its surroundings in Paye Town as a way of identifying with the health sector in light of the numerous difficulties that District 5 residents confront;
* Visited the Lutheran Church in Peter Town and donated L$30,000.00;
* Made a donation of L$20,000 to Peter Town Holy Church of Christ while there;
* As a way to identify with the kids within the district, Madam Baysah organized and celebrated Christmas with kids from the Gbafien and Gbajorkor clans in Nana Town;
* During the celebration, she also donated L$2,000 to a disabled child for her holiday;
* Donated L$10,000.00 to the Nana Town women for their Christmas celebration.
On December 26, Madam Alice T. Baysah made an effort to spice up the Christmas season and
* arranged for a district-wide Christmas celebration with participants from Peter Town, Paye Town, Mina Town, Nana Town, Wohn Town, Poye Town, Lonfay Town, Kpelle Town, Gleegbar Town, Weala Town, Tucker Farm, BKT, Nyoun Town, Lonk Town, Moses Town, Konola Town, Vakaba Town, Dogba Town, Pleemu Town, Kollie Dede Town, Gargbay Town, Suwah, Gorgbor Town, etc.;
* awarded a set of jerseys to each team that was invited and took part in the tournament because it was a competition that everyone won;
* Gave a built-in amplifier and musical instrument set worth L$75,000.00 to the residents of Mina Town;
* provided a set of jerseys to the Moses Town Youth;
* provided transportation for all
Residents of the Gbafien and Gbajorkor clans thank Madam Baysah and the Friends of Alice's (FOA) for remembering and celebrating with them throughout this Christmas season despite the nation's economic difficulties in response to the gestures made by Madam Baysah and assure their commitment to working with her.
