IMAM Liberia Chapter Lead Emmanuel V. Sensee Departs for East Africa Diaspora Summit

Monrovia, Liberia – Emmanuel V. Sensee, Liberia Chapter Lead of the Innovative Media Associates of Margibi (IMAM), has departed the country for Kampala, Uganda, where he will serve as one of the Liberia-based journalist invited to cover the Federation of Liberian Community in East Africa (FOLICEA) Summit 2025.

The three days gathering, slated for November 28–30, 2025, will be held under the theme “From Diaspora to Homeland: Strengthening Community Ties for National Development.”

The summit will bring together Liberians residing in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, and other East African nations, with the aim of strengthening connections among diaspora communities and promoting their contributions to Liberia’s development agenda.

According to organizers, the event is intended to provide a platform for networking, learning, and idea sharing, while fostering unity and collaboration among Liberians across East Africa.

This year’s summit marks Sensee’s second appearance at an international diaspora gathering.

In July 2024, he attended celebrations of Liberia’s 177th Independence Anniversary organized by the Liberian community in Nigeria.

We are wishing our Lead a safe flight
