Citizens of Montserrado and Grand Cape Mount Counties to Benefit Food Packages as token of appreciation.
Monrovia - Over one thousand Homes (1000) including One hundred (100) Churches and Twenty three (23) Mosques are expected to benefit from food packages in Montserrado and Grand Cape Mount counties.
The pending Distribution is expected to be implemented in early July 2024 by Friends Committed To Caring International-Liberia (FCCI-L), a Canadian Non Governmental Organization (NGO).
According to Mr. Theophilus Kiadii, the Country Director for Friends Committed To Caring International-Liberia, the food packages distribution is his institution own way of appreciating the Citizens of Montserrado and Grand Cape Mount Counties for their acceptance of the organization’s pending rice production project by giving their lands.
In can be record, in early June of 2024, FCCI-L received over 100 acres of land in Grand Cape Mount County for the construction of offices, school, and clinic from chiefs, elders and citizens as well as over 250,000 hectares of land for the implementation of a mega rice production project.
Mr. Kiadii said, other beneficiaries of the distribution are staffers of the organization as an appreciation for their high level of dedicated services proven towards the achievement of the organization’s goal.
Also highlighting one of the organization’s major efforts in the transformation process of the country since its arrival, Mr. Kiadii said, over 400 citizens have benefited from the organization’s free health care program across the country through the instrumentality of its Medical Team.
Speaking to our reporters at Friends Committed To Caring International-Liberia (FCCI-L) National Headquarters in Monrovia, Mr. Theophilus Kiadii , Cllr. Amos Peter George, and Mr. Mohammed B. Jaleibah CKA Oversea Partner, the country Director, Legal Advisor and Coordinator of FCCI-L said, Friends Committed To Caring International-Liberia is here to help reduce hunger, and the high level of unemployment rate in Liberia through many different methods.
They however used the occasion to called on all Liberians to join hands with FCCI-Liberia in helping to transform the country and desist from whatever that has the propensity to undermine the organization’s agenda.
