Every puff of a cigarette releases over 7,000 chemicals, including deadly poisons like arsenic and tar. Sh**ha may be the new scapegoat, but ci******es have been killing Liberians quietly for decades.

Heart disease, lung cancer, and strokes are all tied to cigarette smoking yet the Ministry of Health has never raised a moratorium against ci******es. Why? Because too many older people in authority are addicted.

If the fight is really about public health, why target the youth friendly sh**ha industry while sparing ci******es?

The truth is simple Ci******es are deadlier.
The government cannot claim to protect health while ignoring the most addictive and destructive substance on our streets.

Sad News!!! Young Liberian-Lebanese loses life in explosion. According to Mr. Ansu Dulleh, Executive Director of the National Disaster Management Agency, 19 persons were taken to the JFK Memorial Hospital two days ago following the MIRA Gas Factory Oxygen tanker explosion that occurred on the Japanese Freeway.

Ibrahim Alawie was pronounced dead hours later at JFK. His untimely death remains the only casualty from the unfortunate incident. He leaves behind his newly wedded wife, family members and friends to mourn his death.

This is indeed sad 😞
