🔷I just got off a virtual interview for a writing gig a few minutes ago. Big stuff I must. So my recruiter prefers to let me know that I would have been better off as a white since everyone in the room was. According to her I had a big head, a fat nose, and a hair texture she didn't like, and it didn't matter if I was light skinned.
Without having a single evaluation on my skills and experiences, she told me I can't be on her team, her loss!
I am honestly marveled at the guts because I am very sure if she had met me face to face, she wouldn't be able to ask me what the time is.
🔷This is a public announcement to my intending recruiters who might have personal problems with people's races, as you can see my head is very big, my nose is fat, my hair might pass for a jean, none of this will change!
🔷Enough of giving the dishonors of racism to the inability of an individual to make use of their frontal lobe. It is a slow death of common sense to have silly opinions about someone's identity.
My continent is not my qualifications!
