Global Ahmadiyya Muslim Gathering Closes with Powerful Call for Peace, Unity & Women's Dignity

The 59th Annual Jalsa Salana UK, the international convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, concluded after three days of spiritual discourse, international unity, and renewed commitments to global peace, human dignity, and community service.
Held at the Community’s 200-acre convention site, Hadeeqatul Mahdi, near Alton in Hampshire, the gathering drew over 46,000 attendees from across the globe, including spiritual leaders, dignitaries, academics, and thousands of ordinary worshippers united under the banner: “Love for All, Hatred for None.”
The Convention opened with key emphasis on Unity and Righteousness
The Jalsa began Friday, July 25, with the traditional flag-raising ceremony, followed by the Friday Sermon delivered by His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the worldwide Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Addressing thousands, he reminded attendees that spiritual reform must begin with personal righteousness, urging Muslims to “cleanse their hearts of arrogance, dishonesty, and injustice.”
The second day of the convention placed focus on Growth, Global Harmony, and Women’s Rights
Saturday’s highlights included the Caliph’s annual address reviewing the Community’s global expansion—with over 249,000 new converts across continents in the past year.
In a separate address to the women’s wing, His Holiness emphasized the intrinsic dignity and equality of women in Islam, denouncing the cultural oppression that some societies impose in the name of religion. “Islam was the first to elevate the status of women as individuals, mothers, and contributors to society,” he declared. “Their education, participation, and voices are essential to building a moral world.”
