We need Justice for Yekepa Students and Youths Leader in Willeyon Gbeisay .
The continues wave of Police brutality and mistreatment on peaceful and impactful Liberian is unacceptable and unprecedented.
The Liberia National Police is there to protect life and property not to ill treat the Liberian citizenry. The heartless Officer who bears the name Royal Jususon shoots the masses leader three times in his legs in the name of Leader Gbeisay being in a relationship with his girlfriend!
The delish, unconcious and lamentable act exhibited by the less of a human who willfully and disgracefully disgrace himself in attempting to kill the massacratic and ever-potent leader will not be compromised or unnoticed.
We are demanding an immediate and unconditional investigation which will lead to his dismissal; he needs to be disrobed and we are not going to take a side with anyone who try to stand in our way.
We will demand Justice in a different but unison way.

House Spokesman Appeared on Kings FM 88.5MHZ flagship program βCRITICAL ISSUESβ and explained the Houseβs Decision to return the ArcelorMittal 3rd Amendment to the Executive for renegotiation.
During the show phone-in section, several callers were supportive of the House of Representatives Decision.
The Spokesman said the House established series of observations that the House of Representatives has since communicated to the Executive. These observations include but not limited to the following:
β The impact of the proposed Amendment on the existing Treaty signed between the Republic of Liberia and the Republic of Guinea on the ownership, operatorship and usersβ rights of the railroads as enshrined in Article 3 and other Articles of the proposed Third Amendment;
β That the proposed Amendment essentially ignores key provisions of the Minerals and Mining Law of the Republic of Liberia. Article 6, Sections 6.1 to 6.3 and Section 5.3 of the Law referenced mandates the concessionaire to declare production area within which a Class βAβ Mining License will be awarded. In line with Section 5.3(g)(3) of the Minerals and Mining Law of 2000, the concessionaire declared production area of the old LAMCO JV Concession Area. The Mineral and Mining Law referenced here states that in the event where the holder of an exploration license declares only a portion of the exploration area as an operation area, the remaining portion not declared must be relinquished to the Government and that the exploration license shall cease to exist.
β That the proposed Amendment prevents the Government of Liberia from transferring the Buchanan Iron Ore Port which has not been transferred but has been made available for use in the operation for the concessionaire.
Below are recommendations from the House:
β That the Government of Liberia retains ownership of the Railroads, Port of Buchanan and other related infrastructures. The Honorable House of Representatives further recommends that the Government of the Republic of Liberia initiates a recruitment process aimed at hiring an independent operator of the railroad. In the opinion of the House, this will ensure a non-discriminatory management of the Railroads and other related infrastructure;
β That a future renegotiation of this concession, other existing concessions and new concessions consider the full applications of all relevant laws including the Act creating the WASH Commission and the Land Rights Law; and,
β That any future amendments of the AML MDA, other existing concessions and/or new concessions consider a role for the National Housing Authority to ensure standard and improved housing facilities for employees and their dependents.
Director Haynes concluded by stating that the House remains committed to enacting human sensitive legislations that will benefit the Liberian People.

Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi's security plan to place Ituri and neighboring North Kivu Province under military rule has been criticized after the latest deadly attack in Ituri killed 30 people. Tshisekedi argued his decision was necessary to defeat the numerous armed groups that have made the area ungovernable. The recent attacks are believed to have been carried out by the Allied Democratic Front (ADF), one of the deadliest rebel groups operating in the region. Do you agree that President Tshisekedi's security plan has flaws?

Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence writesπππππππππππππππ The Liberian Government through the Minister of Commerce has denied that thereβs a shortage of rice in the Country, and the increase in price. The Minister further challenged the citizens to prove the price increment by presenting receipts from the vendors.
This morning, I was informed by my mother that she had gone to all the stores to purchase rice in Grand Bassa and canβt find a bag to purchase, and asked me to take some rice from Monrovia. I was already in route to Bassa and stopped by a store in ELWA, a block from where the President of Liberia lives, and bought two bags for fifty five United States dollars $55usd, $27usd for a bag.
The stable price for rice was $13.00 wholesale and $13.50 retail. The price is now doubled, two times the price for Liberiaβs stable food in less than one month?
The Government of Liberia must immediately make this a priority and ensure that rice is supplied to the market and sold at the approved price $13.50.
The price of cement has also jumped from $8.00 to $10 with no justification, gas and fuel prices doubled as well. what is going on!!!
The Legislature must immediately resume from our Easter Break to an Emergency Session to ensure that these matters are dealt with.

LFA SUSPENDS ATTY. YARSIAH FOR TIME INDEFINITE
The LFA has with immediate effect suspended Deputy Secretary General for Legal Affairs, Atty. Benedict Yarsiah for "time indefinite" pending investigation into Saturday, 2 April incident at SKD Practice Pitch.
A statement from the LFA Secretariat today said, "Reference is made to an incident...during the crowning ceremony of Determined Girls...where player Bountou Sylla, a Guinean national was denied her rights to bear her flag during the presentation of the medals."
Bountou was inching the stage with her green, yellow, and red Guinean flag to cap a memorable night before she was denied celebrating with it.
Meanwhile, the LFA finds the action unethical and has also asked Atty. Yarsiah to refrain from all activities relating to football.
The administrative decision follows a day after the LFA swiftly condemned the act and apologized to the player, the club, Federation of Guinea Football (FEGUIFOOT) and football lovers.

Photo of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf after her release from prison in the 1980s. Ellen was Secretary of State for Finance between 1972 and 1978, then Minister of Finance between 1979 and 1980.
That same year, Samuel Doe carried out a coup and had incumbent President William Richard Tolbert assassinated at his home and most of the ministers on a beach. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf survives because she is a woman and because the new president cannot totally decapitate the bureaucratic apparatus.
She nevertheless manages to go into exile and then returns later, declaring that she wants to campaign against the president, which leads her to be threatened with death again.
From 1985, she was sentenced to ten years in prison for opposing the military regime of Samuel Doe, but was allowed to leave the country shortly after. Her political opposition earned her the nickname "Iron Lady".
She become the first woman elected by universal suffrage as the head of an African state in 2006. She is a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011.
