Liberia Football Association President Mustapha Raji has expressed openness to criticism but emphasized the need for honesty and sincerity in how it is delivered.

According to him, constructive and genuine criticism is always welcome, as it helps to improve the game and strengthen the administration.

However, he noted that unfair or insincere criticism does not contribute meaningfully to progress.

He stressed that people must be real and objective when offering feedback, adding that anything less undermines efforts aimed at developing football in Liberia.

Endorsements Pour In for Raji as LFA Elections Draw Near

Mustapha Raji remains the favorite of many Liberian football lovers ahead of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) elections scheduled for April 18 this year.

Since announcing his intention to contest for a third term, several veteran sports personalities, current and former athletes, and government officials have endorsed his candidacy.

Many of the reasons cited for their support relate to what they describe as the significant developmental initiatives undertaken by the football body during his first two terms.

According to them, granting him another term would open the door for further progress at the football house.

One of those who believes the LFA president deserves another term is Rick Barsi-Giah, Vice President for Technical Services at the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL). Barsi-Giah recently used his social media platform to publicly endorse Raji’s third-term bid, urging stakeholders to vote for him in the April 18 elections.

He joins Stephen Johnson, Deputy Managing Director for Administration at the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority, who also endorsed the LFA president in a Facebook post.

Meanwhile, this medium can independently verify that several infrastructure projects have been completed under Raji’s leadership, including the construction of a state-of-the-art LFA headquarters, mini-football pitches across the country, increased subventions for clubs, enhanced prize money for champions, and the presentation of vehicles to Most Valuable Players in both the male and female categories, among other initiatives.
