Arson Case at Capitol Building Continues

The arson case involving the Capitol Building resumed today, with testimony from the chief prosecutor appearing as a witness.

During proceedings, the prosecutor stated that he could not recall the exact month or date when key evidential items were discovered, but confirmed that the discovery took place in 2025.

The admission drew criticism and raised concerns about the handling and documentation of evidence in the ongoing case.

"Citizens Protest Alleged Ritual Killing of Young Child in Willie Town"

A shocking incident has shaken the people of Willie Town after a 61-year-old man, Edwin Sackie, was arrested for the alleged ritualistic killing of a two year and four month old child, Favor Willie. The incident has led to widespread protests as residents demand justice for the child.

According to local reports, Favor Willie went missing on Sunday morning, December 13, 2025, while he was in a garden with his parents. His father, Samuel Willie, sent him to his mother in the kitchen while he continued working. Minutes later, when the father asked about the child, Favor could not be found.

Later, the lifeless body of the child was discovered in a nearby creek by the suspect Edwin Sackie, who claimed the child had drowned.

Local sources said the suspect was known in the community and was seen in the area shortly before the child went missing. This raised more suspicion among residents.

As news of the child’s death spread, residents gathered in large numbers to protest, chanting for justice and accountability. Sources say the child’s parents are deeply traumatized by the loss.

Paramount Chief Tony Kanakor described the incident as a tragedy for the entire community. He called on residents to remain calm and support the grieving family while allowing justice to take its course.

Investigations are ongoing as the people of Willie Town continue to demand truth, justice, and accountability for the death of the young child.
